Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine, Licensed Acupuncturist and Herbalist Dr. Yesenia Flores is a Licensed Acupuncturist in the state of California. She has completed 3,500 credit hours of theory and practices for the Master of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine, a Doctorate of Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine, and about 1,000 hours of Massage Therapy training all from the Pacific College of Health and Science in San Diego. Pacific College of Health and Science’s professional doctorate program is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (ACAOM) and by the WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC).

Dr. Flores loves to be a part of Integrated Medicine applying her skills and knowledge in a clinical setting alongside other medical accomplished Acupuncturists and Massage Therapists. She specializes in Chinese medical treatments such as Acupuncture, cupping, massage, gua sha, moxibustion (mugwort), infrared heat, external and internal herbal treatments. She has been successful in the treatment or adjunctive treatment for decreasing symptoms related to pain, anxiety, depression, type 2 diabetes, urination problems, colds, flu, smoking cessation, insomnia, vertigo, weight management, pre-operative, post-operative, pre-natal, pregnancy, post-partum, fatigue, and ADHD. Dr. Flores also holds a certificate in micro-needling, which helps increase collagen therefore, reducing wrinkles on the face and neck. It may also be used on the head to help stimulate hair growth.
Services
As a primary care healthcare provider, she has demonstrated to practice patient-centered care at the clinic for seniors in downtown San Diego and at the Pacific College of Health and Science Clinic. When not working, she enjoys family gatherings, spending time in nature, and walking on the beach with her husband, kids, and their dog cookie.
