Teresa Onan – Owner
Licensed Acupuncturist, Licensed Massage Therapist and Herbalist Teresa Onan is a California Licensed Massage Therapist since 2010 and currently have a Master of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine (M.S.T.O.M.) by Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, graduated December 2011. She is declared Nationally Certified by The National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) since February 2012. She received her Acupuncture California Board License in 2013. Teresa, as a young girl, witnessed her mother’s Tension Headache and Bell’s Palsy conditions improved with acupuncture treatments while living in Montana, U.S.A. This event of her life made her decide to pursue a passion to become a Doctor of Oriental Medicine.
Training
Teresa also graduated from Brigham Young University-Idaho formerly Ricks College in 2000 with an Associate Degree in Health and Education. As a woman of many talents, Teresa is very well versed in sports of any kind. After graduating from college, Teresa served her church mission in Belen, Brazil and while serving her mission she became proficient in two other languages, Portuguese and Spanish.
